California Day 5

California Adventure:

We were so excited to see the new Cars Land and it did not disappoint!  It was so so cute, and looked just like the movie!  We had heard crazy things about the new Racer's ride - like the fast passes sell out for the whole day first thing in the morning, so we decided to skip the huge line to get fast passes, and just go wait in the actual line.  I think we made the right decision.  We waited in line for about an hour or so, and rode it first thing in the morning.  They wouldn't let us even take Leila in line, so we did the swap out.  Jace and Nixon went with everyone, and then when they were done, Brock and I took them again while Leila waited with everyone else.  We loved this ride.  Nixon's shoe trick worked again, and Nixon went on all the big rides (up to 40").  He even went on Tower of Terror and loved it!  I am so glad, because it's my favorite ride, and Jace still says he doesn't like it very much.  He rode it once for me, but then wouldn't go again.  This baby in my belly was turning flips!
We spent the rest of the day at California Adventure.  A Bug's Land, watching the live Disney Junior show, a fun parade, Toy Story, and lots of others.  By about 6:30 it was getting dark, and Leila fell asleep.  We asked the boys if they'd rather stay and watch the World of Color show, or just head back to the hotel.  Surprisingly, they chose going back to the hotel.  Brock and I were so glad!  Dale, Shauna, Natalie, Kallie, and Beckett stayed.  We got back to the hotel, and the boys wanted to swim.  Brock took them for a bit while I got pizza downstairs, and then we all had dinner and went to bed.  Another fun, tiring day!

We got ice cream and then waited for the fun parade to start.

It was super cute.  Monsters Inc., Nemo, Incredibles, and lots of others.
