Well, after having our house on the market for just about 3 months, and having two or three offers come in and fall through, we finally sold it. The Saturday before we closed, we had lots of friends and family over to help us move out. We put most of our things in storage, and took the things we need on a daily basis to Dale and Shauna's. We'll be living there while we look for a new place. Of course, it was horrible weather - windy, snowy, freezing - but thanks to many hard working people, it went very quickly.

When Brock got home with the U-Haul around 8:45am, the weather wasn't too bad yet |

Brock put our dining room table and chairs on KSL, and they were sold in about an hour! The guy came and picked them up as we were moving the rest of the stuff. The kids had been sad about moving, and when Jace found out we sold the table he was pretty upset. He asked why we had to sell it, and why we couldn't just buy a couple more chairs to fit our family. I think the whole move was affecting him more than we realized. |
