Leila Broke Her Finger

At one of Jace's baseball games Leila was playing with her friends and got her pinky smashed with a rock.  She has changed her story a couple of times, about what happened, and who did what, so we don't really know what happened.  She was crying pretty good when it happened, and then the next day it looked so purple and swollen, and she couldn't bend it, so I took her in to get it checked out.  The doctor said she had a "pancake fracture", and that we could get a real cast on it, or he could do a removable cast that he thought would be just as good.  We opted for the removable one, so that we wouldn't have to worry about a cast when we went swimming and gave her baths.  She had to wear it for 3 weeks, but we took it off after about 2 and a half, and she is doing so much better!  It really was just awful to look at for a while there though.  Poor girl!
