We celebrated Talon's 1st birthday on Sunday, the 15th with our family. We had everyone over for a yummy potato bar and salads, and then opened presents, had cake and ice cream, and then decorated ginger bread houses. It was so much fun! We're so grateful to have so much of our family so close to us, so that we can celebrate these kinds of things together.

Look at all those presents! |

Leila helped him open this one |
Jace and Nix wanted in on the present opening too! |
He's so excited! I want it now! |
Cake time! |
The kids were more than happy to help him blow out his candle too |
He wasn't shy! He went straight for it! |
Ooh, YUMMY! |
Little bites weren't enough, so he grabbed the whole slice and tried to shove it in! |
It fell on his arm, and he didn't let that stop him |
So HAPPY! |

We had such fun night, and Talon walked (well, crawled) away with some new fun toys, clothes, and books! If only he didn't have to wait so long before Christmas to get more presents!
