New Year's Eve

We had such a fun New Year's Eve, and got to be with family and friends, which makes it even better! For dinner we met up with Grandma and Grandpa K, and Steve and Brenda at The Old Spaghetti Factory.  Brett and Kallie and kids didn't come because they had had a rough day.  We were bummed, and the kids were especially sad that their boys weren't there.  We had a delicious dinner, which has now become tradition, and then headed to Heather's mom's house for some fun games and playing all night long.

They have a basketball court in their basement, so the kids played down there most of the night

The ladies played , which was so much fun!  I even won the first game!

Someone had to hurry to rescue Talon so he wouldn't get stepped on!

Then the men joined in.  

The Martineau's brought some jelly beans, and if we lost, we had to pick one.  The scary/funny part, is that all of the yummy jelly beans had a gross one that looked exactly the same, so we had to hope we were picking the good one!

Brock got grass clippings.  Not too bad he said.

Mine was either peanut butter, or vomit...

VOMIT!  It was sooooo disgusting!  I gagged just chewing on it!

Lyndsey's was either juicy pear or booger...

Heather got dirty sock!

Then we played another fun game girls against boys.  Whoever lost had to eat another jelly bean.  We lost.

The boys moved upstairs to play foosball.

More game playing just waiting for midnight.

Talon got to play with Monique.  He made it all the way to midnight, and was happy the whole time!

At midnight we all went outside and lit fireworks!  Here is Skee starting it off

We needed a family picture!  Our first of 2014!

And of course, I needed one with my sweetheart!  Another tradition.  

We really are so blessed to have such great friends and family.  We had so much fun, and I am so grateful to all those who made this happen!

Jace and Nixon were lucky enough to stay and sleepover with the Jones's.  Thanks to Heather for sending me some of the pictures she took!
