Summer Fun

We have been having so much fun since school got out!  We have passes to Cherry Hill, and Seven Peaks, so we go to the Hill every Monday with Shauna, Kallie and her boys, Natalie, and sometimes Brenda and Chloe.  We always have so much fun.  We kind of have a routine.  We get there, get our spot (usually the same every time), we eat some snacks, and then head to the lazy river.  We go around a few times, and then head back for more snacks, and to get warm.  Then we go to the Dragon slides.  We do that about 5 times, and then head back for snacks and to get warm.  Then we go to the pirate ship pool, and then back for snacks and to get warm.  Then it's off to the big pool, then you guessed it, back for snacks and to get warm.  Then depending on what time it is, we go back for more lazy river.  Then we get changed and head home.  It's pretty perfect because Leila and Nixon will usually fall asleep on the way home and then take good long naps, which has helped with how tired I've been.  I usually get a short nap in too while Jace watches a show.  We try to go to Seven Peaks one other day of the week, and since so many of our friends have passes, it's been so much fun to play there.  Then there's our ward park play date every Tuesday morning, and there is a fun splash pad right down the street, so we are not lacking in fun things to do around here!  We just can't believe there is only just over one month left of summer though, now that Jace will be starting year round!  At least he's on D track, so he starts later than everyone else.  He could be starting in two and a half weeks!

 I made some yummy treats the other day while Nixon and Leila were napping, so Jace got to help me all by himself!  The best part of helping, is licking the mixer!

 Our next door neighbors bought this fun bounce house water slide thing for their back yard, and lucky for us, there's not a fence between our yards, so Lyndsey lets us play on it too!  She just got it, so this was our first time, and Nixon and Leila were sleeping, so again, Jace got to do it all by himself.  I think Lyndsey felt bad for him, so she started playing with him.  They were having some fun races.  I have the best neighbors!  She had turned off the water and was letting it dry off.

Somehow Jace always won.  Lyndsey is the best!  Next time they have the water going, we'll be there for sure!
