One Last Hurrah!

Okay, so I know that since summer is not truly over we will still be doing lots of fun "summery" things with Jace, but since school was starting for him today we told him that he could pick anything he wanted to do last night.  Yesterday he was lucky enough to spend the day at Cherry Hill with Grandma, Natalie, Kallie and her boys, Brenda, and Nixon while I took Leila to the doctor and to a baby shower with me.  But Brock wanted to let him pick what he wanted to do for fun last night as a family.  He decided that we should get pizza and go play at the park.  It was such a nice night, and we had lots of fun.  We went home and got the kids in the bath and jammies, and then Brock gave Jace a really beautiful beginning of the school year blessing.  Jace went to bed without any arguments, even though it was at least an hour earlier than he's been used to this whole summer.  I'm sure after waking up early today and spending the whole day at school, he'll be happy to go to bed even earlier tonight!
