St George

The boys are off track through most of January, so we went with Granny, Grandpa, and Giada to visit Nolan and Treo in St. George for a few days.  Julia met us there, and we were so glad that she could come!  We stayed at the Worldmark Condos like usual, and had so much fun!  We missed daddy though, since he had to stay home and work.  We drove down together, and it was so nice to have Granny in my car with me so she could take care of Talon if he needed it while we were driving.  It was also nice to have someone to talk to along the way.  My kids and I were there from Tuesday to Friday, and Granny and Grandpa stayed through the weekend.  It was our original plan to do that too, but Leila had dress rehearsal for her ballet on Saturday morning, so we had to cut the trip a bit short.

Jaylee and Kash got to sleepover a couple of nights,  and my kids loved that!  They loved these fun pillows too.

These girls were so excited to sleep together

And Jace shared a room with Aunt Julia.  He didn't care to sleep with the rest of the kids.

The kids loved to dance and sing to the credits after Wreck It Ralph

The four of us played lots and lots of games

This baby boy is too cute!

It was around 50 degrees outside (much warmer than freezing Woods Cross) so the kids were so excited to swim!  Luckily the pool was heated, but they spent most of the time in the hot tub.

These cute girls wanted twinner (triplet?) hair every day.  I had fun doing it.

Me, Mom, Julia, and Treo all went to get pedicures

We had so much fun, and just love going to visit our cousins in St. George as often as we can!

Leila's First Day in Primary!

Leila became a Sunbeam this year, and got to go to primary for her first time!  She wasn't even scared a bit!  She was so excited!  I can't believe she's such a big girl!

New Year's Day

We had Brock's family over for lunch New Year's Day.  We had delicious paninis on our new panini maker, we played games downstairs, and watched football upstairs.  It's so good to be with family during the holidays.

These two were out cold since they had been up so late, and then went sledding all afternoon!

Cute baby boy
Shauna's sandwich.  Yum!
Shauna also made these delicious chocolate covered caramels!  So good!

New Year's Day Sledding

The boys got to go sledding with the Jones's and Fox's.  Brock met them there, and again, Heather took these fun pictures.  They had lots of fun.

Cute Nixon.  I could not be more in love with this picture!  Pure joy on this boys' face!!

New Year's Eve

We had such a fun New Year's Eve, and got to be with family and friends, which makes it even better! For dinner we met up with Grandma and Grandpa K, and Steve and Brenda at The Old Spaghetti Factory.  Brett and Kallie and kids didn't come because they had had a rough day.  We were bummed, and the kids were especially sad that their boys weren't there.  We had a delicious dinner, which has now become tradition, and then headed to Heather's mom's house for some fun games and playing all night long.
They have a basketball court in their basement, so the kids played down there most of the night

The ladies played , which was so much fun!  I even won the first game!

Someone had to hurry to rescue Talon so he wouldn't get stepped on!

Then the men joined in.

The Martineau's brought some jelly beans, and if we lost, we had to pick one.  The scary/funny part, is that all of the yummy jelly beans had a gross one that looked exactly the same, so we had to hope we were picking the good one!
Brock got grass clippings.  Not too bad he said.

Me in action!
Uh oh.  I got out.
Mine was either peanut butter, or vomit...
VOMIT!  It was sooooo disgusting!  I gagged just chewing on it!
Lyndsey's was either juicy pear or booger...
Juicy pear.  Not fair!
Heather got dirty sock!
Then we played another fun game girls against boys.  Whoever lost had to eat another jelly bean.  We lost.
The boys moved upstairs to play foosball.

More game playing just waiting for midnight.
Talon got to play with Monique.  He made it all the way to midnight, and was happy the whole time!
At midnight we all went outside and lit fireworks!  Here is Skee starting it off
We needed a family picture!  Our first of 2014!
And of course, I needed one with my sweetheart!  Another tradition.

We really are so blessed to have such great friends and family.  We had so much fun, and I am so grateful to all those who made this happen!

Jace and Nixon were lucky enough to stay and sleepover with the Jones's.  Thanks to Heather for sending me some of the pictures she took!
Jordan and Jace
Nixon, Dyson, and Braylon

Nixon was sooo tired!
He gave in pretty soon after we left.

The next morning they were back at it!
