California Day 4

Disneyland!

We spent the entire day Sunday at Disneyland, and had so much fun!  I was 31 weeks, and was definitely feeling the pains of being so huge, but other than that, we had a blast!  I rode all the rides that I probably shouldn't have for being 7 months pregnant, but I just couldn't pass them up.  I said no if they were really jerky, or bumpy, but I pretty much rode every ride!  We even padded Nixon's shoes so that he could ride all the rides Jace and Beckett could ride.  A lot of the rides you have to be 40 inches, and Nixon is 38.  So we got some of Jace's old basketball shoes which have a thicker sole, and then stuffed them with rubber insoles that we had cut and piled in the heel of his shoes.  It totally worked!  He was exactly 40 inches and got to ride all the rides!  We're hoping that he grows 2 inches in the next year for our next Disneyland trip.  We were there from about 9:30am to 10:00pm, and were all pretty tired heading back to the hotel that first night.

Here we are on Nemo

Then, when everyone went to Star Tours, I took Leila to meet Tinkerbell.  Grandma, Natalie, Brenda, Chloe, and Lacey all came too.  Then, since our line was so long, Daddy even made it before we met her

She was so excited the whole time in line, and then got a little shy when it was actually time to say hi.

I went up with her, and that made it better

Pirates of the Caribbean

In line for the Haunted Mansion showing off their cute shirts that Grandma got them to wear at Disneyland

On the ride -- Jace with Grandpa, and Brock and Nix

Grandma and Brenda, and Stu and Chelsea

While the big kids were on another fun ride, Leila and Griffin got to meet Tigger

And Eeyore

And even Whinnie the Pooh!

Here's Leila on the Whinnie the Pooh ride

And Brock and Nixon

Here they are in line for the Jungle Cruise.  They decided to just sit down.

And here we are on the Jungle Cruise

Then we went over to Toon Town for a bit before it closed.  We got to meet Mickey!

So did Beckett and Griffin
Leila liked Minnie's house

Leila driving a cute little car

Then, while we waited for the firework show to start, the kids rode the carousel.

It was dark, but Leila is on the outside, Jace in the middle, and Nixon on the inside

Then Jace found a car to drive

Then he had to drive with his feet!
While we were at Toon Town, one of the workers told us to go watch the fireworks by the carousel and Mr Toads ride.  It was pretty cool.  We were behind the castle, so we were in between the two spots where the fireworks were going off.  And we were right underneath Tinkerbell when she flew over.  It was fun.  On the walk back, all the kids fell asleep.  Nixon even fell asleep on Brock's shoulders!

So fun, and so exhausting!  But, we got to wake up the next day and do it all over again!
