Easter Eve

After my Grandfather's party we went to Grandma and Grandpa K's to celebrate Easter a little early. They have church at 9:00, we have church at 11:00, and Brett and Kallie at 1:00, so there wasn't really a good time to get together Sunday morning. Luckily we had an "in" with the Easter Bunny, and asked if he could come early. He DID! (She?)

First, the boys all got to search outside for eggs. They had so much fun. I love seeing them get so excited when they see one.

Aunt Natalie helped Jace get his out of the mailbox. That silly Easter Bunny!

Nixon, Jace, and Beckett with all their goods.

I sure love these boys!

And I'm glad they love each other so much! (most of the time!)

Shauna (or maybe it was Kallie) found these fun eggs that were full of confetti. The boys had fun breaking them on people's heads. Nixon just kept wanting to do it to Aunt Natalie!

Then it became a train, and Jace did it to Nix, while Nix did it to Natalie.

Nixon with confetti in his hair. I know, he needs a hair cut! (He actually got his hair cut since these pictures!)

We then went inside for the adult hunt, and Leila even found some eggs with her name on them!

Always with the tongue out!

Brock searching up high.

Aunt Natalie looking in the hamper.

Leila searching in the couch.

Here we all are checking out our loot. Each family had a basket we had to find also. Ours was in the trunk of Shauna's car! How did the Easter bunny get it in there?

Then we decided to dye some eggs. I know, a little backwards, but we had fun!

Grandma had a fun little egg dyer. You would put your white egg in the spinner, put a few drops of whatever colors you wanted, put the lid on, and start pushing the button to spin the egg! The boys loved it, and the eggs turned out really cute!

Then we had a BBQ, and Kallie made a Skookie. One of those yummy skillet cookies with ice cream. It was such a fun day!
