Maui: Day 3

Day three we decided to head out to the beach first thing after breakfast.  Leila had gotten knocked over by a tiny little wave the day before, so she wanted nothing to do with the water this time.  She kept a safe distance away and played with the sand.

Julia and I started to throw the frisbee around, and Treo joined us a little bit later.

My dad took this picture.  Leila was having a grand old time putting sand on all of our stuff, including filling daddy's brand new hat with it.  We discovered it later when our bag, towel, and clothes were also covered!

Me, looking just lovely.

Cute little Nixon.  He had absolutely no fear!  Luckily he had those floaties!

Brock buried Jace, Nixon, and Jaylee.  My poor boys and their sunburned shoulders!

We tried to bury Leila, but she did NOT want to get in the hole!  She pretty much clung to daddy like this for 10 minutes!

They all broke free, and were covered in sand!

We headed back to the pirate ship to do some more swimming.  Leila got her ball stuck under a chair and had a hard time getting it out!

Brock went and got the paddle and balls for some ping pong.  Outdoor ping pong is always a little bit of a challenge.  If there is the slightest breeze who knows where the ball will go!

Granny and Grandpa enjoying their seat in the shade with miss Aria.

We headed over to the pool with the slide.  Leila and I read while trying to catch a few rays, while the boys played on the slide.

We went in for lunch and naps again, and then got ready to go to dinner on Front Street.  We hit up Bubba Gump's.  There was hardly a wait, and we got to sit right by the water.  A few times Julia and I thought we were going to get splashed, but we never did.  Dinner was great, the company even better, and we headed back to the hotel for an early bed time.  The kids were still getting up around 6:30am, so we were tired.
