Closing Day

We closed on our house on the 26th of February.  My mom and I had spent the whole day prior to this cleaning every square inch of the house.  It was spotless!  Then, after all the papers were signed, Brock and I went one last time to get a few last things, take some pictures, and say goodbye.  We stood at the top of the stairs and just held each other and cried.  At least, I did!  Jace wasn't even one month old when we moved in, and he's seven now!  Not to mention our three other kids we brought home, and raised here.  They're all so young though, and I know that it's only a matter of time until only Jace can remember - and he'll probably only have a few.  It makes me sad to think about that.  We have just loved it here.  We've made such good friends here - that will last a lifetime!  We loved our ward, our fun neighbors, and Jace's school.  We hate to think of him not being in the French Immersion program wherever we end up, and it's been so nice that he could just walk to and from school with his friends every day!  We really feel like we hit the jack pot in this neighborhood, but with 4 kids and only a three bedroom house, it was time for us to go.  We sure hope we find another great place!

This sign has been on our garage door since Jace was learning how to write!  So probably 3 years!  He had found some rocks and brought them in the house one day, and we told him that rocks were not allowed in the house so he made this sign.
It has a picture of a rock with a circle around it and a line through it, and says No Rocks Allowed
