My 33rd Birthday!

Wow!  I am getting OLD!  I just can't believe I'm 33.  I feel really great, and am probably in the best shape of my life.  I love my husband, adore my children (usually), and just feel like I am in a really good place in my life.  It's definitely crazy at times.  I feel like a taxi service most of the time, shuttling my kids everywhere they need to be.  But I finally feel satisfied and happy where I am - a stay at home mom.  I have struggled going back and forth between working and not working.  Feeling guilty no matter what choice I made, and never feeling completely satisfied with either choice.  Luckily, I have had the most amazing man by my side, supporting me, and letting me go back and forth, to see what makes me happy.  I don't know what it is, but I finally feel complete and happy at home.  It could be that with 4 kids, and a big house to take care of constantly, I just don't have time to think about anything else!  But whatever it is,  I am so grateful for all that I have.  I am happy to be 33, and am so excited to have the rest of my life with this precious family of mine.

Brock and I combined our Valentine's Day/Birthday date, like we usually do.  And we did one of our favorite things.  Spent the afternoon in Park City shopping, and then went to Ruth's Chris for dinner.

Then, since my birthday was on Sunday, we went to church before I got to open some fun presents from the kids.

They picked out this cute bracelet and necklace, and all my favorite candy!    Peanut butter m&m's, Sour Patch Watermelons, and Hot Tamales!

Then Talon helped me get the cake ready for the party.  His drool just made the cake taste that much better!!  Secret ingredient!  My family came over and we celebrated mine and Nixon's birthdays.

Leila loves doing her own makeup, and thought she would try her talent on Talon!

The best part of the night was when Nixon just had one present left, from Aunt Julia and Uncle Matt.  We were FaceTiming with them, so that they could see Nixon open it, and when he read the card, this is what it said:

Everyone was so excited!  Brock and I knew, so we were able to help them reveal the secret, and it was so fun to watch everyone's reactions!  Yay!  We're so excited for Sanders Grandbaby #12!
