On the 3rd of July we went to Travis and Susie Shupe's house for a yummy barbeque, and then to the West Bountiful fireworks. It was so much fun! Their backyard is amazing, with a basketball court, trampoline, playground, and they had slip n slides out for water baseball. Our kids were having so much fun until Nixon and Leila found a rock pile just outside their yard, and were playing, and must have upset a hornets nest. I heard them start screaming, and saw Nixon swatting at his face and head. He came running to me, and Leila was stuck on the rocks screaming. I went to her and saw tons of hornets swarming around her. Brock grabbed her, and got her away from them, but not soon enough. Nixon had 6 stings! 5 on his face and head, and 1 on his arm, and luckily Leila only got one on her arm. It was so scary, and so sad! They were good sports and after they settled down, we headed to the park for fireworks.
