Jace's Baseball Birthday Party

For his party, Jace said he just wanted to go to a park and play baseball!  I was perfectly fine with that!  Easy enough!  Although, I can't believe with all the baseball he's been playing lately, that he wasn't ready to be done!  So we invited most of his team, and some other friends to come play baseball!  The weather was great, and we had such a fun time!

I made the cupcakes into a baseball

Turned snowballs into baseballs

We had to have crackerjack, right?
As soon as everyone was there, we split the boys into teams, and started playing!

Nixon was his usual monkey self, and climbed the fences

He made it to the top!

Nix was pouting because he didn't get a great hit.

Grandpa K brought the pizzas!

Present time!

Jace really wanted to do an obstacle course, so we headed over to the playground.  He made up all the things on the course, and then Brock timed everyone.  Jace was first, and he had the best time all the way until the very end!

And he's off!

Monkey bars

Down the slide, up the stairs

Through the tunnels, down another slide...

And race to the finish!

Then he was nervously watching as each of the other boys tried to beat his time!

"How much time has it been Dad?"

Then when all the big boys were done, they played tag

Then Leila wanted to try the obstacle course

Talon loved the rock stairs that led to a fun slide

Then it was time for cake!

Baseball bat candles were perfect!

I was able to get all the cute boys (and Leila) to line up for a picture before their parents came.
Wyatt, Parker, Griffin, Carter, Talon, Leila, Parley, Easton, Max, Nixon,
