Sawyer Mae Halls is HERE! - Oct 8

Well, after a pretty rough delivery (it actually went very smoothly, but without an epidural, it was extremely rough for Julia) Matt and Julia welcomed their first baby today!  I wanted to be there so badly.  There was just no way of planning for it though.  My kids schedules are so busy, and I am constantly in the car driving someone somewhere, so I just couldn't up and leave when she went into labor.  I feel so bad about it, but I am so happy for them and the journey they are beginning together!  I just wish they weren't having this journey in Arizona.  I hate being so far away from them!  I'm so excited that we're going to see them next week!!

More Birthday Celebrations - Oct 4

Sunday morning Daddy made J-A-C-E pancakes for breakfast, since we didn't have time yesterday.  Then, after church we got to celebrate with the Keddingtons.

Cornbellys! - Oct 3

Today, right in the middle of all of Jace's birthday celebrations, my cutest, most favorite girl in the world had her first performance with Legacy Dance at Cornbellys.  She did so great, and I loved watching her!  Then we got to play and have so much fun on all the fun things they have there!

T is obsessed with Minions, so we had to get a picture with them!

Love this cute girl of mine!

After her performance, it was time to play!

Jace's 10th Birthday! - Oct 3

How do I have a 10 year old??  It's just so crazy to me!  Jace is just such a joy, and a blessing to our family.  He made us parents 10 years ago, and he has been the perfect oldest child.  He is so easy-going, and hardly causes any problems.  He is a fantastic student, and is always praised by his teachers.  He loves soccer, especially goalie, baseball, basketball, and football, and he's great at all of them!  He is kind to his siblings, and rarely fights with them.  He wakes up in the morning, and gives me no trouble.  Gets himself dressed, brushes his teeth, and is ready for school without me needing to bug him at all about it.  He is incredibly smart, and such a good helper when I need him.  He loves to read, especially "Diary of a Wimpy Kid", and has read all of the books - a few times!  He loves Minecraft, Legos, XBox, Wii, Think Noodles, and the Disney Channel.  He loves to get good grades, and his teachers say that when he gets done with his assignments, he'll walk around and help the other students - even in French!  He just makes me so happy, and I don't know what I'd do without him.  Love you Jace boy.

He woke up to 10 balloons hanging from his ceiling!

He got ready for soccer, and then got to open presents!

A coloring book and a crazy game from Granny and Grandpa

This game shocks you if you lose!

He wanted a Fitbit, and was so excited when he opened it!

He went to his soccer game, and let nothing past him as goalie!  Then he got to come to Cornbellys with Talon and Leila and me for Leila's dance performance.  Daddy and Nixon had to stay back and go to Nixon's soccer game.

Then Grandma and Grandpa K took him shopping to pick out his own present

And for dinner he picked Chili's!  Our kids always want to go to Chili's because they have these little computers with games on them at each table.

They brought him an ice cream sundae, and sang Happy Birthday to him!

He ordered the Lava cake too.  Hey, you get whatever you want when it's your birthday!

Talon and Nixon were holding Gracie's hands to walk her to her car

So sweet!
Then Jace got a Facetime call from Nolan and Treo and their kids to say happy birthday.  He loved it!

At the end of the day, he said that today was a perfect 10!  I just love this boy of mine, and think he is just perfection!
