I can't believe my big man is old enough for braces! They do it different than when I was younger. they like to start "Phase 1" when kids are 8 or 9, keep the braces on for about a year, and then put them in a retainer until they lose all their baby teeth, and then do "Phase 2". Jace looks great with braces, and was so excited to be getting them. A few of his friends have them, so it wasn't too out of the ordinary. After having them on for about a week, his front four teeth were already straight and even! Crazy!
